Zhe Song began her musical training at the age of three. She studied at the Affiliated School of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Continuing her studies in the United States, Ms. Song received a Performer’s Certificate in Violin Performance from La Sierra University under Professor Jason Uyeyama. She then earned a Graduate Certificate from the University of Southern California under Professor Bing Wang, Associate Concertmaster of Los Angeles Philharmonic. In Fall 2015, Ms. Song became a member of the Spokane Symphony Orchestra and was granted tenure in 2016. She regularly performs with the Long Beach Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, Yakima Symphony Orchestra, Washington Idaho Symphony, Walla Walla Symphony and the Seattle Symphony. Zhe Joined South Carolina Phil in 2019.
