Beethoven on Bikes is a spring fundraising event to raise support for the South Carolina Philharmonic and the Palmetto Cycling Coalition. Created by SC Philharmonic musicians who are also avid cyclists, this event is designed for the experienced mountain bike rider to enjoy in a safe, socially distanced environment. To ensure social distancing and safety, this event is not a race, but a family-friendly 10-mile ride through trails in Sesquicentennial Park.
All participants will enjoy complimentary lunch from Blue Marlin Steaks & Seafood, beverages from Pepsi, non-alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewery, and music from SC Philharmonic musicians. Who knows, maybe even Beethoven will pop by to say hello!
Park admission fees are included in the price of your Beethoven on Bikes ticket purchase. If you have guests who are not participating in the ride, you will be asked to pay a park fee for their admission.
