Performers from the South Carolina Philharmonic will join Historic Columbia to present a beautiful concert of light classics in the gardens at the Hampton-Preston Mansion.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a vibrant Concert in the Gardens featuring Eric Gilfus’ brass quintet and percussion. This high-energy ensemble brings the rhythms of Latin music to life with bold brass, driving percussion, and festive flair—perfect for an evening of lively, colorful music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Please plan to arrive any time after 5:00 p.m. The concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last an hour. Bring your own blanket or chairs, and pack a picnic if you'd like.

Tickets are required and space is limited. Please note that this event is for those 21 & over.

The Hampton-Preston Mansion is located at 1615 Blanding Street. Ample street parking surrounds the property.

In the event of inclement weather, this concert will be moved indoors to the Boyd Horticultural Center Greenhouse on the grounds on the Hampton-Preston Mansion.
