The South Carolina Philharmonic and CITY GRIT invite you to spend an evening in the spirit of Spain—where long meals stretch into conversation, music spills into the streets, and every course has a story to tell. Settle in for a celebration of the country’s rich culinary and musical character, brought to life around the table. 

From the sun-drenched coast to the rugged interior, Spanish cuisine is shaped by place, season, and generations of cooks who know that the simplest ingredients can make a lasting impression. The culinary artists at CITY GRIT will draw from these regional influences to create a multi-course dinner inspired by the bold flavors and time-honored techniques of the Iberian Peninsula. Carefully selected wines will accompany the meal, pairing each course with an invitation to linger a little longer. 

As dinner unfolds, members of the South Carolina Philharmonic will provide the soundtrack, performing works that capture the many moods of the Spanish musical tradition—from spirited rhythms and dramatic flourishes to melodies full of warmth, passion, and unmistakable character.
