Andy & Friends brings pianist Andrew Armstrong together with cellist Brannon Cho and violinist Nathan Meltzer for a program filled with unexpected turns, virtuosic moments, and intimate musical exchanges.
The program moves between intimacy and intensity, pairing lyrical moments with rhythmic energy and virtuosic flair. Featuring music by Schumann, Bartók, Liszt, Kodály, Kurtág, and Ravel, the evening offers a fascinating look at the many ways composers have challenged convention and expanded the possibilities of chamber music.
Think of it as a night out with exceptionally talented friends—and a few composers you’ll be glad you met.
