Make the most of it

While you're here we want you to have a great experience. Here is some practical information we have found to be helpful and a few insider tips from those that are in-the-know.

Pre-concert talk with Morihiko

+

Before each Masterworks concert Music Director, Morihiko Nakahara hosts a pre-concert talk in the auditorium of the Koger Center for the Arts. We discuss the history of the pieces the orchestra will perform and share tips on what to listen for. This provides more context and for some, a fuller concert experience. Our longtime concert goers love attending this talk!

When does it occur? One hour before the concert is set to begin. It lasts for about 30 minutes and folks are dismissed to the lobby to grab a drink and socialize before the concert begins.

Who can attend? Anyone with a ticket to that evening’s concert. The seating is first come, first served on the ground floor of the auditorium.
