We are excited to announce our upcoming "Philharmonic Live Series" that begins in January 2021. We are working closely with our partners at the Koger Center to develop a safe and clear seating chart that is socially distanced, along with a comprehensive list of safety policies to share with you as we approach 2021.

This series consists of five concerts at the Koger Center for the Arts. There will also be a live streaming option for folks who will not be able to join us in the concert hall this season. We appreciate your patience and flexibility with us while we move into this new year together!

For information on how to purchase virtual or in-person tickets, click here.

If you are an SC Philharmonic season ticket holder you will not lose your seats when we return to a regular seating chart at the Koger Center. This season will have social distancing measures in place and we will work with you directly to get you the best seats available if you choose to join us in the concert hall - and we hope you do!

Note: All attendees to the in-person concerts will be required to wear a face mask while inside the Koger Center. This includes the lobby, bathrooms, elevators, and concert hall.

We are happy to speak with you directly about any questions and concerns. Please email info@scphilharmonic.com or call our office Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM and we'll be glad to assist you.

Message from May 2020

Dear friends,

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and well in these difficult times. While circumstances prevent us from being able to know the timeline of our 2020/2021 concert season, we want to assure you that your SC Philharmonic is actively planning for the day we can be together again to enjoy the creation of live symphonic music with you, our family.

Although we would love to begin our Masterworks season in October as originally planned, we recognize that some of our patrons may not feel comfortable or safe attending large gatherings in theaters and concert halls. Restrictions may also still be in effect at a national, state, or local level preventing such gatherings.

It is possible that we will be forced to delay the start of our season. We pledge to keep you informed as more details emerge including any possible adjustments to dates, repertoire or artists, and we ask for your continued patience.

Our first priority is the health and safety of our patrons and musicians, and we are closely monitoring local and national guidelines by government and health professionals.

Your season seats are secure, and we will not release any seats without consulting you regarding your specific arrangement and other needs.

Meanwhile, we are doing everything possible to lift the community’s spirit with virtual musical experiences, including mini-interviews and performances by our musicians in our “From Our Homes to Yours” series. Thanks to a special agreement with our musicians, we can also relive some of our favorite performances from the last few seasons in "From the Archive." We are working hard to create more digital content to fit your musical interests and listening pleasure. Please visit www.scphilharmonic.com over the coming months to enjoy.

Throughout this nation's history, live music has brought people together in times of both exultation and mourning. Sadly, the current circumstances prevent us from partaking in this very act. Our musicians miss sharing those special musical moments with you and are eagerly looking forward to being with you at the Koger Center again soon. Please feel free to contact us at our email addresses below if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Morihiko Nakahara
