I couldn’t be more excited about all the wonderful music the S.C. Philharmonic has in store for you this season.
However you look at it, the season is big. The “Rach 3,” Tchaikovsky “Pathétique” Symphony, Scheherazade, and the Beethoven Ninth could even be called giant. We have a “Mostly Mozart” program and our annual “Beethoven & Blue Jeans” concert. Guest artists with worldwide acclaim and our own musicians will produce big sound. Welcome to the South Carolina Philharmonic 2011/2012 Masterworks Series.“it’s big!”
