Mission Statement: To foster, promote and increase musical knowledge and appreciation of the performing arts in the community and to cooperate with and support the South Carolina Philharmonic.

The Symphony League is an organization of more than 300 men and women who volunteer many hours to support the South Carolina Philharmonic and music education and appreciation in the Midlands. The League is a sponsor of the Master Series at the platinum level and also supports Young People's Concerts, the Youth Orchestras, after concert receptions, the Arthur Fraser Piano Competition as a part of the Souteastern Piano Festival, the First Chair Gourmet events held throughout the year and other special fundraising events.
