Philharmonic single tickets to be sold by Capitol Tickets
COLUMBIA , S.C. – Just in time for the “Magnificent Seven” music director search season, Capitol Tickets is now the exclusive seller of South Carolina Philharmonic single tickets.
Sales of single tickets to the seven-concert 2007/2008 SCP Master Series begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, August 20. Three options are available to patrons wishing to purchase tickets: telephone, Internet and in person. Ticket prices remain $40, $32, $23, $16 and $13.
Advance orders may be placed via phone Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 803.251.2222 to speak with sales associates, who will assist patrons in selecting and purchasing seats with MasterCard or Visa. Patrons wishing to purchase tickets in person may visit the Capitol Tickets box office at the Carolina Coliseum, 701 Assembly Street in downtown Columbia, which is also open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets may also be purchased in advance online, 24 hours a day, at www.capitoltickets.com. There, patrons can view real-time seating maps, choose exactly what they want from available seats and pay securely with MasterCard or Visa only.
All unsold tickets will be continue to be sold in the Koger Center’s lobby ticket kiosk beginning one hour before concert time the night of each concert. Methods of payment accepted for advance or concert-night sales are cash, MasterCard or Visa. In-person sales are not subject to additional charges.
Subscription sales for the entire Master Series continue through the SCP Box Office at 721-B Lady Street, by calling 803.254.PHIL (7445) or visiting www.SCPhilharmonic.com. Subscriptions represent savings of as much as 20% over single-ticket prices, with senior citizen (aged 65 and older) pricing available.
