Patriotic concert to honor U.S. Army Green Berets

The Celebrate Freedom Foundation honors U.S. Army Green Berets with a 7:30 p.m. patriotic-themed concert featuring the S.C. Philharmonic Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Music Director Morihiko Nakahara welcomes attendees of the Special Forces Association national convention with the Ballad of the Green Berets before a program of patriotic favorites, from the Americana of Francis Scott Key and John Phillip Sousa to John Williams’ movie music from The Patriot and Saving Private Ryan

Tickets are $12 and seating is general admission. Purchase online 24-hours a day, by phone from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 803.254.PHIL (7445), and through S.C. Phil Audience Services at 721 Lady St., Suite B, Columbia. A group rate of $10 per ticket is extended to parties of 10 or more – call or visit for this rate.
