SCP honors veterans with free tickets

In appreciation of their service to our country, the South Carolina Philharmonic is offering veterans free admission to the Friday, Nov. 9 “Made in the U.S.A.” concert, 7:30 p.m. at the Koger Center.

Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces with valid ID are eligible for one free ticket per ID to the Masterworks concert, which occurs just two days before Veterans Day on Sunday, Nov. 11. Additional tickets may be purchased at the SCP’s standing military discount, which is half off admission. Six of eight seating sections are included in this offer.

“Our veterans have done, and do, so much for us. In turn, the SCP wants to demonstrate its gratitude, and this is one more way we can do that,” SCP Executive Director Rhonda Hunsinger said.

Free veteran tickets with valid ID are available through Capitol Tickets in person only at the Koger Center Box Office (806 Park Street). Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Remaining tickets are sold in the Koger Center lobby from 6:30 p.m. the night of the concert.
