The SCP’s “Music for a Cause” program turns concert experiences into “coming together” events with seven non-profit 501(c)3 organizations from Richland and Lexington counties.
In 2011/2012 the SCP once again partners with seven area charities to raise money and awareness of their causes. Each charity will be featured at a Masterworks concert. The charities for the season are:

The SCP is pleased to accept applications for the seven partner charities of the 2012/2013 season. Partners are recognized in publicity and advertising for the concert and are offered a display table in the lobby and the opportunity to insert an informational flyer into the program book. They are also able to sell concert tickets as a fundraiser, keeping 75% of the proceeds for their organization. In selecting its seven partners, the Music for a Cause program focuses on helping a diverse cross-section of smaller non-profit organizations from Richland and Lexington counties with limited resources, giving them a unique chance for publicity and awareness in front potential supporters that might not be familiar with their programs.
The following are SCP concert dates in the 2012/2013 season. Many of our partner charities select a date near a major fundraiser or important date in their organization's mission (like Earth Day or World AIDS Day).
