The building of the Koger Center for the Arts in Columbia in 1988 marked an important step in the South Carolina Philharmonic's development, giving the Philharmonic a home with excellent facilities and acoustics and a seating capacity keeping with the size of the community. The Ira & Nancy Koger Center for the Arts demonstrates the cooperative spirit present in South Carolina. Its construction is the product of a shared dream and a shared labor of love for many in the community; a combined effort, with both public and private entities contributing to make this dream a reality. For more information about the Koger Center, please visit their website at www.koger.sc.edu. The Koger Center is located on the University of South Carolina campus at the corner of Assembly and Greene Streets. The address is 1051 Greene Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. Directions
