A two-year search process resulted in Morihiko Nakahara being selected as the South Carolina Philharmonic’s new music director, the fifth in the orchestra’s 45-year history. Nakahara was the music director search committee’s top choice and his hiring was the result of unanimous selection. Click here to read the complete press release.
