The Midlands’ warm welcome to Music Director Morihiko Nakahara was rewarded with a season of electrifying performances that translated to rave reviews and full houses.
The 2009/2010 season follows with Morihiko 2.0 Premium Edition as the SCP continues to redefine what the symphonic experience can be. Maestro Nakahara’s second season has the classic, the eclectic and everything in between in the seven-concert Masterworks Series and an exciting special event concert that brings 2009 Grammy Award winners Béla Fleck and The Flecktones to Columbia for “Jingle All the Way” on Dec. 1.
