The South Carolina Philharmonic is a per-service orchestra. The 2008/2009 season will include up to 43 services.

Per service rates are:

• Section Strings $60.00
• Associate Principal Strings & Non-Principal Winds $66.00
• Senior Assistant Concertmaster & Principal Musicians $75.00

Musicians residing more than 35 miles from Columbia, South Carolina receive mileage allowances.
